The Last of US HBO Leak shows the cast in a main location
Filming in HBO’s The last of us is in full view, and a new video set video has been filtered online! Filmed in Can more, Alberta, the scene takes place in Jackson, Wyoming. There, walking through the streets, we can see Joel and Ellie next to Tommy. The video was recorded by ATROMO038 and shared by the unofficial account of Twitter @ThelastofusNews. As Games radar + points out, the scene could show a change of games, with Joel and Ellie seemingly meeting first with Tommy in Jackson, instead of in the prey shown in the first The last of us game. However, it is difficult to say it with certainty.
The video can be found on the Tweet embedded below.
In The last of us, Tommy and Mary’s wife of Him have established Jackson as a prosperous community, despite the state of the world. It is an important place, which plays a vital role in the narrative. If the previous scene really reflects a change of games, it will not be the only one! Neil Luckmann by Naughty Dog has already confirmed that the HBO series will contain elements that were eliminated from the games. Of course, no adaptation has adhered 100% to the original material, and is a safe bet that even the most passionate fan of the PlayStation Games would not mind seeing some alterations. Hopefully, any change will be for better!
The Brothers Joel and Tommy Miller are being represented in the series by Pedro Pascal and Gabriel Luna, respectively. Meanwhile, Bella Ramsey interprets Ellie’s role. In the short clip that is shown above, the actors are clearly similar to their PlayStation game counterparts. However, it remains to be seen whether to channel the characters by themselves. However, until now, things look promising!
From HBO The last of us will be launched at some point of 2022. Meanwhile, readers can consult all our previous program coverage right here.
