Square Enix recently announced its financial results for the first semester of the exercise and the big games that result from it are Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XIV and Marvel’s Avengers. Fewer people are new in Final Fantasy XIV according to software sales, but the number of subscribers continues to increase for the MMORPG Final Fantasy. Dragon Quest Tact had a strong performance in the mobile department, while Dragon Quest Walk and War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvious continues to generate profits. Final Fantasy XIV is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Marvel’s Avengers have both exceeded the growth of digital sales, creating a growth in net sales from one year to the next for the six -month period, while the profits have returned to black. The quarterly financial data provided by Square Enix showed an important positive peak during the quarter which saw the release of Final Fantasy VII remake and a loss during the quarter during which Marvel’s Avengers published, showing a little juxtaposition between the Two titles.

The net sales of Final Fantasy XIV were lower from one year to the next according to the quarterly financial data from Square Enix due to the comparison with the launch of Shadowbringers. While fewer people buy new copies of the Final Fantasy XIV software, the number of monthly subscribers to Final Fantasy XIV continues to grow. In the end, this results in higher profits for Square Enix during the last quarter and more active players for the MMORPG Final Fantasy.

According to quarterly financial data from Square Enix, Dragon Quest Walk and War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvious both experienced growth from year to year for sales and profits and have succeeded on the mobile market.
